Huguet Gonzalez

Huguet Gonzalez is the National Pastoral Migratoria Program Assistant and the Pastoral Companion in the Southwest area of the Archdiocese of Chicago Pastoral Migratoria’s Immigration ministry. She has been responsible for accompanying immigrant and non- immigrant lay leaders in the ministry following the methodology of listening, learning and proclaiming in order to bring service, accompaniment, advocacy, and leadership to the immigrant community. Huguet was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. She was brought to the United States to get reunited with her family at the age of 13. She earned an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Truman College, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University. Huguet is currently a Parishioner of Our Lady of Czestochowa and Charity in Cicero, IL.; where she is a member of the evangelization communities, a lector, and a CCD teacher. She is married and has three kids.
